Sal’s Friends and Family,
I have received email from many and talked to more, asking me “How can I help?”, “Can I get tested to be a marrow donor?”, “Can I donate blood?”, “I can donate blood/marrow, but I want to send them some money too”.  Understandably, Kristi is so busy she cannot get back to everyone’s inquiries, and I also know she isn’t 100% comfortable asking for donations.  This is where I come in… As I have said in the past, this isn’t a “cousin by marriage”, this is MY FAMILY, so I am compelled to step in to do the dirty work.  I know for a fact that they have bills coming due and neither of them are working.  I also know that Sal and Kristi have a huge support structure of friends and family that really does want to get involved.  So I have provided a way to help via Paypal, for those that want to.  You do not need to have an account to donate.  When you get to the Paypal login screen, you can click to the bottom right where is says “Don’t have a Paypal account?” and continue to donate without an account.  To get things started my family is making the first donation; even $5-$10 will help Kristi get to/from the hospital.  These are trying times for the Aguirre family and I hope you will join us in helping them.
